Hatch MTB 2022

The Luuk MTB event, which has been organized continuously since 1999, brings together mountain bikers this fall as well.

You can also join without a competition license.

IN GENERAL

Start on Sunday 4 September 2021 at 12. 

The starting point is the Luuk campsite (along the Pori road, about 10 km from Ring 3).Map link. NOTE: The Luuk manor parking area has become paid.

Routes and series:

1)A full marathon, about 56km: series (n) women, (m) men, n18, n40, n50, n60, m18, m40, m50, m60, e-bike (route map)

2)Half marathon, about 25km, women, men, n16, m16, fatbike (min 3.8''), e-bike (route map)

3)Mini marathon, about 5km (2006 and younger) (route map)

A competition license is not required. The minimarathon is intended for young people. Exact routes will be specified closer to the event.

​

The participation fee for the event includes service points and a warm sauna and a soup lunch are also available at the finish line. In addition, there is a place to wash the wheels, but you do not use solvent-based detergents.

Early bird prices until midnight on 31 August 2022:

• Full marathon €40
• Half marathon €30
• Mini marathon €15 (born in 2006 and younger)

​When paying with an exercise benefit, ask the event organizer for a voucher code. The code is entered on the registration form during the payment phase.

​

Post-registration is possible at the venue from 10-11:30. Payment methods are cash, mobilepay, sports vouchers and sports benefits.  Post-registration prices: mini marathon €15, half marathon €50, full marathon €70.

SAFETY

​

The use of a helmet is mandatory and everyone drives at their own risk.

​The route is not closed to other outdoor enthusiasts or traffic.

​The participants are followed by a service bike, which, if necessary, both helps and guides and at the same time dismantles the route signs.

​There are first aid supplies at the start and finish area. When registering, you can give the organizers your own phone number for emergencies.

The oldest continuously organized MTB event in Finland is Finlandia mountain biking (From 1991). In joint second place are Tahko-MTB and Luukki MTB, both of which have been organized since 1999.
